Did you know that there are GP appointments available on Saturday and Sunday mornings each week at Barbara Castle Way Health Centre. These ‘spoke’ clinics are provided at the Family Practice on Level 2. You can book these appointments through our surgery by phoning 01254 915823 – option 1. (they do not take direct bookings at present you must book with us Mon-Fri). In addition to GP appointments, they also offer Nurse appointments for smear tests and asthma reviews for patients registered at Oakenhurst Practice.
During the week Mon-Fri, there are spoke clinics at various GP sites across Blackburn at Barbara Castle Way Health Centre, Little Harwood Health Centre, Darwen Health Centre and Shadsworth Surgery offer urgent spoke appointments from late afternoon through until 20.30pm.
