In November 2021 East Lancashire Hospital Trust (ELHT) introduced a new IT system for managing maternity care. All midwife and antenatal appointments, clinic notes and booking of appointments migrated from GP computer systems to a new ELHT system called BadgerNet. This means that GP surgeries can no longer routinely access patients notes or appointments, even for appointments that take place within our surgery.
For all queries, comments and requests for an appointment should now be directed via the BadgetNet system or via contacting the Community Midwifery Hub on 01282 804512.
For those women who are newly pregnant and need to access midwife care, please self refer online via the link below;
Practice staff are unable to refer you or do this on your behalf.
